Array ( [sid] => 117417 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Creator [time] => 2006-03-30 23:23:09 [hometext] => I thought to myself, why do I write? Why this obsession with creating these peices of work, even if nobody sees them but me? I thought long and hard and I boldly concluded that perhaps it's not that far removed from what inspires God to create. Maybe.. [bodytext] =>

Beyond Her part in kharma juggling and multi-tasking, She's an artist struggling
Painting with molecules and atoms adding to abstract solid truths
Her surrealism is our concrete system
Her cause and effect metaphors and star born similies leave us in awe
Seemless
We stay bedazzled painting pale reflections of Her perfect shapes
Inspired by the magic She fastens to Her space and time canvas
We confiscate our concious from Her loose leaf cosmic book of psalms
She composed the symphony of galaxies, and planet poetry that made spheres rhyme
Her imagination outlasts infinity as Her works outlcass definition
Sculpting life out of light and marble
Leaving Her fingerprint on our heartbeat
Molding destiny from grey matter clay
She got experimental and painted free will
Signing Her name on our subconcious
Tapping celestial alphabets, She composes star cluster sonnets and comedic tragedies of math and physics
The choreography of dancing worlds corresponding with Her eliptical opera
She dances with them stranded in forever
She is an illiterate poet painting blind
A deaf singer dancing cripple
She's an artist for the same sake that we are artists
And in that we find Her
At the core of all creators the hand of god speaks
They create to be immortal
Capturing flashing moments in suspended analization
For even She had to create death in order to live forever [comments] => 1 [counter] => 176 [topic] => 73 [informant] => shade [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => abstract )

Oh. My. God. What can I say? This is... wonderful.

My favorite lines have got to be "She is an illiterate poet painting blind" and "They create to be immortal"

Excellent job on this one!!!
