DISHES SITTING NEVER WET
FLOORS ALWAY NEED TO BE SWEPT
PILE OF CLOTHES LOOK SO UNKEPT

BEDS NEED MAKING DONT KNOW WHY
NOW WASNT I GOING TO MAKE A PIE
I JUST NEED TO READ THAT MAG
HOUSE WORKS IS SUCH A DRAG

LOOK AT THOSE BIRDS IN THE TREE
OF HOUSE WORK THEY ARE TOTALLY FREE
BUTTERLIES FLITTING AROUND
I WILL JUST SIT HERE ON THE GROUND

NOW I MUST GO NOW AND IRON SOME SHIRTS
THEN I HAVE TO SEW SOME SKIRTS
BUT SOMETHING CATCHES MY SHARP EYE
A BABY FINCH LEARNING TO FLY

THEN BEFORE I KNOW IT HOURS HAVE PASSED
AND I AM STILL SITTING ON THE GRASS
I MUST REALLY DO SOME WORK
BUT FIRST PUT COFFEE ON TO PERK

WHILE THATS BREWING I WILL JUST SIT DOWN
AND WRITE A LIST FOR GOING TO TOWN
THE BENCHES NEED ATTENTION TOO
OH DEAR JUST WHAT AM I TO DO

A LITTLE PUPPY CHEWS MY TOES
MAKING ME FORGET MY WOES
FOUR MORE COME TO HAVE A GAME
WELL HERE IS SOMETHING ELSE TO BLAME

WHATS FOR TEA, I HAVE NO CLOTHES
MORE AND MORE THE STORY GOES
BUT I HAVE LIVED ANOTHER DAY
AND HOUSEWORK NEVER GOES AWAY

Wow, so intense, fast paced and exhilirating. I wrote a poem on being bored similar to this, but nothing like it.

I have a remedy for the things I hate doing...

I just don't bother!

it's got me absolutely no where in life but it's oh so unstressful!

Nice poem well rhymed.

Bravo Bravo! Yes tis true the list of to do's
never ends! Adorable write!

I used to be a real nit picker, fussing over
ever little thing, now I see if its a bit undone
its plain alright with me. If a day comes and goes and there is a bit of a mess about,
I smile and say oh well, it will be there tomorrow no doubt.

sometimes watching the birds, butterflies,
sitting in the grass with a cup of coffee and kicking back are really all that is needed for the day!

smilesssss

Michelle
