Dark clothing, pale as white,
different than the rest
is not an option 2 me.
To be loved by others
isn't possible since
most of my peers
hate me.
Hate me for standing out.
Hate me for being different
than the rest.
I used to be like everyone else.
Wearing the same thing
and eventually becoming
a clone.
A clone that actz like everyone
else does the same thing.
I have been different
since that tragic death.
The death of my grandmother.
Ever since that day, I have changed.
I try so hard to be happy
but you see, I may be happy
on the outside but on the
inside, I am crying. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 197 [topic] => 13 [informant] => BabiBoricua314 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

I'm guessing you're quite young..don't worry about your peers and their small minded opinions of what normal is..they have no idea and they're exactly the sort of people you don't want to be accepted by. you're a step ahead of the clones, who one day will get into the real world and realise no-one cares what they wore to school -they'll be treated like everyone else. n you can trust they'll feel embaressed by themselves when they remember how they treated people different from them. i can't bear to imagine losing my nan as we're very close...trust in your heart to manage and im sure you can move on to be happy in yourself . good luck, stay true to yourself xx
