We miss you,
And we hurt
Cause we love you so,
We find it hard to forget
The day you had to go.
We remember your warm smile
And when we dream we see your face
And the way you helped with our problems
With an open heart and a world of grace.
You gave us a fire to keep warm
And a roof over our head,
And even though there wasn't enough
You always had a spare bed.
You carried the world on your shoulders
And never once complained
You never cared for material things
Or what there was to gain.
You said that riches were measured in love
Not what you have or how far you go,
Well Pop I have to tell you,
Your the richest man I know. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 368 [topic] => 52 [informant] => becca_au85 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => goodbyepoetry )
