To two of the most wonderful friends
In your darkest hour
Sorry to hear about your pet
Things are very sour
Ducks can be such wonderful pals
Now yours has gone away
Hope you are feeling better now
And this is what i pray
Maybe you can find another
But what could i be thinking
Nothing will ever replace that one
Not even in a blinking
But not to worry your little head
About your little mate
At least he has gone to a better place
And not some dinner plate

i think it could be better if you would lose the constant abab form and it is a little bit insincere
because of the format but im glad that you care about your friend

dear floral house,

I think this is a sweet and poignant write, with just the right touch of humour to even out the empathy. It felt like a Hallmark card written by a vegan!

It cheered me up no end -I'm sure it will do the same to your mourning friend.

thanks for sharing, and keep posting!

Spike
