Array ( [sid] => 11686 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Tainted Waters [time] => 2003-01-31 05:00:00 [hometext] => Sometimes people act in such a way that you will never ever see them the same... unfortanately for me, I saw a bad side to someone I really cared about and it ruined everything forever. [bodytext] => Just when you think you know someone.
Time has taken you to,
what you thought,
was an understanding
of who they were.
But then the crash comes
and a ripple emerges
that impels the collapse of the foundation
of what you thought was a solid relationship.
It strikes the trust .
Undulates harshly up and down,
Breaking apart any drop of belief that yesterday
could ever be once again--
and leaves you doubting if it ever was genuine.
The ripples unfold dangerously
Growing bitterly severe--
Instentaneously extinguishing all hope
with a rush of furious waves
Destroying all you once knew.
The act of raging dissipatation.
In the midsts of this violent storm
You fleetingly wonder how
something that took so long to build
could be destroyed so quickly.
Desperately trying to find alternatives--
holes out of what appears to be happening--
Yet you can’t hold onto maybe forever.
Eventually truths are revealed.
You’re hands and feet are bound
And you watch your islands of excuses
become engulfed and set in motion,
Just like everything else
They take hit after hit
and soon you are left without
any recongnition of anything distinct.
All that was dry has drowned.
Its a puddle.
A Puddle of Mud.
No clairty.
No knowledge.
No vision.
No understanding.
It’s Tainted.
Irrevercibly sullied.
Even after the worst of the storm had subsided,
Never again can you touch it
without being soiled again.
You’re left to let it go--
never knowing the cause
Ever blaming yourself.
Puddles of Mud can’t give you
believable explinations...
Even so,
Explinations can’t undo the damage.
They are now Tainted waters...
