Unfinished poems with your name at the top
But writing them hurt so I made myself stop

There were
Other girls that I thought I could love
But it was only you that I thought the world of

There were
So many times that I didn't know what to do
overwhelmed by emotions caused by losing you

Maybe I
Should've been quiet and let you get on with your life
But it's hard when for so long I thought you'd be my wife

Maybe I
Could've won your heart back if I tried hard enough
But I gave up on love 'cause the emotions were rough

But I
Want another chance because your always on my mind
And isn't it funny how true love can make you blind

Because I
Get caught up thinking about the times that we shared
And the thought of losing you is making me scared

So I'm
Telling you now that you make me short of breath
And if it means anything, I love you to death. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 373 [topic] => 22 [informant] => timbothepyro [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 20 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

Wow, reminds me of the past.
REally well described emotion.
