In The Darkness

Topic: DarkPoetry

In the darkness, even the mightiest falter
Eyes are made that pierce the soul
Noises are made that cannot be explained.
Screams and crys fill the echoes of hallow tress
Moans of pain from the souls of the damned
Can be heard from the beginning of this mad journey.
I wander deeper into the foggy mist
The dark mist that makes your eyes burn red.
Shapes of demons surround you
And a cold chill creeps down your back
The nerve you once had now lost as you.
You made a turn, Which way
Where am I? The thought races through your head
Noises stir all around you as figures start to appear
No, Is this the end? Am I to die here?
You fall to your knees, Struck down by fear
Unable to move, Your body frozen.
The mist closes in all around you
The eyes, They glow red and stare into your heart.
A voice raspers from the stillness
You have sinned, Now face Your punishment.
Your body goes numb, Blood pours from your head
Your already hazy vision dulls darker and darker
Now covered and colored in red
All goes black, Your body now in severe pain.
Your heart Burns as if it were on fire
Your eyes open as a bolt of lightning strikes you
covered in sweat you stare at your wall
And realize the nightmare is over till tommorow.
