Time stopped,
You turned and smiled,
Lightning must have struck,
Back before you were born,
I’m sent.
What must the angels have said,
As God was making you?
So extraordinarily good, kind, and bright,
As he put part sun light in your hair,
And the moons firm gaze in your eyes,
The tree’s great strength in your build,
And the winds soft breeze in your smile.
Oh, but than, than,
You did speak,
What a voice so perfect and clear,
All the angel’s must weep,
So gentle like the oceans waves,
So constant in its rhythm of blue,
They dance at your every step,
And sing with your song.
You must know that you are heavens child,
Born for angels delight,
Of that please never lose sight.
What of a companion, I wonder if one exists.
I know I’m not even close to the angels pride,
You barely even know my name,
But its all the same,
Of being with you I shall not even think so,
Someone dressed in heaven’s perfection you deserve,
Not like me dressed in the simple earth’s dirt.
Yet, wherever this life leads you,
Only in heaven do you belong,
So be wary of each step,
That you do not fall to earth's way if living,
You, born high above the rest.
Never lose who and what you are,
You have been born to go very far,
So angel’s son, please say true,
To why and what God made you.
All this I thought as you sat right next to me,
And as you walked away I could not help but stare,
You go back to the lights of yellow and blue,
Surly it’s the angels that follow you. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 271 [topic] => 31 [informant] => Alison [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => StoryPoetry )
