To fill it with words that are as fresh as can be
To say something that has never been said before
OR some new idea that one needs to explore

Yet the words may be as old as those hills outside
Somewhere you can run to and also somewhere to hide
The ideas of which this paper can be filled
Still ramble in my head but ready to be quilled

As the tiny flowers strain to burst forth in spring
Are these simple words of praise my heart yearns to sing
When seeing the first hint of green rush to appear
Knowing that springtime and sunshine are very near

Each of the seasons has its specialties that call
Yet the newness of spring life; the babies and all;
Hungers to let us know that God still loves us so
Budding plants keep whip'ring; the babbling brook just knows

The brand new baby calves in dewy fields at play
The bright yellow daffodils are in full array
The clouds try to steal away the moments of spring
But the colors are sooo bright and the birds still sing

The reminder that Easter is soon coming too
With the knowledge that our Jesus makes our lives new
By His death and resurrection -- sin was paid for
We need to accept this -- now and forever more

As you see spring's new life appearing all around
The new baby animals and flowers abound
Remember the Creator designed this for us
Not only spring's beauty but eternal life plus

So now this paper isn't as blank as before
And hopefully there are thoughts you'd like to explore
Yet my earnest prayer is that these words will inspire
You to reach toward the Lord and climb out of the mire

Admire the flowers and the animals outside
But please don't run away and please don't try to hide
From the Saviour's love that He's waiting to bestow
Come to Him today and His saving power know. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 167 [topic] => 43 [informant] => Lin54 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

to me this piece makes me think you had no idea what you were going to write to start with and just went with the flow, your flow was BEAUTIFUL and the description was so real i could see what you were describing completely. I loved this. excellent. sometimes the best writes come when you have absolutely no idea what to write about!
