[bodytext] => its just another day for you and me we have food and all that we could need, we've friends to keep us happy and warm a place to sleep, things t' do, and love's charms, but think again, somewhere right now- is someone begging in a street near you looking for a place to lay their head, some food, a man walks by them, embarrassed, when a hand is reached out in need, a kindly word, an offer of spare cash, it doesn't take long and the happy feeling might last, i've been on both sides of the tracks have lost it all and made my way back, never forgetting where i've come from, seen, things i've not had, hands that were there for me, somewhere out there right now, is someone i was able to help too the payback forward theory's true, think about it, somewhere right now a woman sees one of these souls, she hurries to walk past, too scared her selfish feelings might last, she's not sharing her time, her life is bliss and rhymes, it's just another day now for you and me am ready to help in all ways ever, see, somewhere right now is a woman with no food with her hand out, for her kids, no shoes, and a man who lost his job, saying can you help me? and thousands of young people alone not enough money to even call home, they are trying to last just one more day, as folks walk by in their dignified way, a sigh is muttered, there is nothing that voice can say... §* *§ *|* [comments] => 6 [counter] => 213 [topic] => 32 [informant] => ladyfawn [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 25 [ratings] => 5 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )
