WILL YOU??

Contributed by Alison on Thursday, 16th March 2006 @ 11:43:24 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

To all of you,
Who say I am childish,
And so immature,
Say that I have a squeaky voice that’s high,
And that I look for pity,
You say I live like a 13 year old.
But this I say to you:
I am happy,
Are you?
I will not debate my faults,
Whether true or not,
But I have reasons for them,
For your faults,
Do you?
So you think your all that,
And so cool,
But one thing above all,
I can give and receive love,
Can you?
Or do the game you just play?
You think you have it all figured out,
This life of hardships,
That you will go far and have it all,
But this I say to you,
I know how to be happy with myself,
To find joy in the littlest of things,
And in the end, when all is through,
I will be loved,
Will you?

This is well written and speaks volumes. I hope your tormentors read this, and see how strong and beyond them you are.

Great piece

Love Dawny
