The Stars Have Distanced Themselves

Contributed by eggflipper on Thursday, 16th March 2006 @ 10:56:29 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Sometimes its hard
separating the distances
locked in thoughts of exsistence
and torn between the struggles
of everyday life.
Where is the happy medium
between the grand
and here.

She,
the individual,
plays a pivotal role
for here and now.
But visions of immensity
perplexes the mind
to carry the other soul
to non-exsistence.

I'm drunk now and sit
in wonderment of your anger,
knowing probably what the matter is.
I've never been good at
domestic cleanliness.

I still write to you,
everyday,
even though I no longer
take communion.
The gates of heaven
require a larger faith
than I give to you.

Isn't it annoying that the immense
gives birth to the glorification of a love
between man and wife.
Despite,
perhaps in spite,
of what everything you hear,
you are
and always were there when
a thought blossomed on my lips.
The grandness leads me to the sanctuary
of arms I've always known
and kisses that are still as sweet.
Love is the connection somehow
between the grand and the
universe of one.

Where is this place,
my place in this world.
The oneness,
my niche,
my fame I've always counted on,
my difference.
All I've discovered
was my intoxication level has lowered
and the stars have distanced themselves.

I read it again , like I usually do, because sometimes your writes are beyond my understanding in a way. Still beautiful, even in it's pain.I really liked
"you are
and always were there when
a thought blossomed on my lips.
The grandness leads me to the sanctuary
of arms I've always known
and kisses that are still as sweet.
Love is the connection somehow
between the grand and the
universe of one."
Your wife is lucky to have such love.
Well done.
