A Father's Love: For Brandon

Contributed by eggflipper on Monday, 13th March 2006 @ 07:04:45 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

The sacrifice woke as any other,
his henchman woke with fatal intentions.
For different reasons,
they greeted the morning.
The confused adolescent blinded
by his utopian invincibility
share a special love for his.
The deranged man blinded
by satan's red brilliance,
shared a perverted love for his.
Both men died that day.
One took his soul to exist in a watery bliss,
the other stayed to die again.

The calloused bond,
was drowned.

Father and son no more.

Powerful. And heartbreaking, the darkness that we of this world are capable of. I'm sorry for your loss.
