have brought me here.
The oasis was not found in the desert,
but in your fertile cresent.

Night shall give
asylum to death
and light will give
eternal life.
Night is when I have come
to give worship,
to your temple,
to your pillars of salt.

I have come to worship in your church,
bringing my insatiable thirst for forgiveness.
I've given myself for cruxification
only because
the taste of your forgiveness
is pleasureable to my palate.

Men have fallen to their knees
to give offerings,
but blessed is this holy night
when you have found favour
in my sacrifice.
I will be ressurected in the name of passion
and I will be forgiven
for the sake of my innocence. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 220 [topic] => 2 [informant] => eggflipper [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

whoa Shayne! Insatiable desires indeed! This was exquisite!
You have an incredible way with the language, my friend.
Brilliant work ... I only wish I could convey the emotion this has
evoked !! I've not the wits about me to articulate a proper
thought -- so stunned was I by this.

Beautiful work ... as always.
