It is dangerous and of an ancient race
A dragon of the fiercest kind
I am scared out of my mind

But I am armed with the jade dart
And the strawberry quartz heart
But one more thing I must do
I must go see the Witch Gedew

She will tell me how to kill
And endow me with the skill
I am now at her caves entrance
Little dogs barking and doing a dance

Gedew looks at me and scowls
They send me you I would rather owls
How do you kill the dragon intend
You a skirt most certainly couldn’t mend

I tell her I will do whatever it is I need
To accomplish this tremendous deed
She said then to the abyss you must go
And jump in no fear you should show

So here we are at the hole deep
And I wish I were dreaming in my sleep
I take all the courage within
My heart pounding what a terrible din

Jumping down this deep pit
I think this has to be it
Cold tingles down my spine
Icy fingers wait they are mine

I land at the bottom with a thud
Spitting out a mouthful of mud
On the wall is a word I see
Just what has happened to me

This may be my last page
