And Gods new home for me,
The joys and gifts were given
That someday we shall see.

I hear them talk of mansions
And the riches that abound,
Could it be that I’m old fashioned
In the things I hope are found.

It’s really not important
That king sized feather bed.
For I know I’d be content,
With a place to lay my head.

The street I hear is paved in gold,
That leads to my new home.
But I’d be happy if it were told
My street was cobblestone.

Well now I see the tears of joy
My loved ones beside me,
And hear the stories when just a boy,
Feel the angels touching me.

Gold and mansions have a pretty sound
Don’t grieve because I’m gone,
If you could only see the flowers
That surround the Master’s Throne.
