Designate the passage of time and man
Loving hands mold and create
Ultimately everything relinquished to fate
The migration of time impacts upon
Vulnerability of shape, texture and design

Fantasy arising out of reality
As our creation reverts to granular form
Structure and matter, shape reborn
The cleansing action of the water
Washes away our dwelling transformed
Though we still exist in another form

His footsteps transcend the passage of time
As He visits each sand castle prior to its demise
The history resides in the grains of sand
These structures, though delicate, do withstand
To mark the parameters of longevity
And focus on universality and infinity

Water facilitates the cleansing of the soul
Filtered through natures land
Our souls identity primarily transformed
Particles, footprints, and evolution of man
Changes, which occur, are hard to understand
As returned to the consistency of dust and sand [comments] => 3 [counter] => 221 [topic] => 62 [informant] => Willofree [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => spiritual )

Smiles. This is so beautiful. I just love it. Sometimes we can crumble and fall apart just like those sand castles. Our souls landscape breaks. With faith, trust and hope comes along to keep us from collapsing the whole way, and if we do, He does wash us just like the waves. As we know we must build our lives on solid ground and not sand. Stand beside a sandcastle, watch the waves comes knock it down, as our life presses on.

Wonderful write,

raquelLeah
