Here are the callouses of your love
forming on my numb fingers
how unaware i am
adapting to the life you demand

how many times have i begged you
not to promise
blind lies down a steep tunnel
and that hopeful light
was only the acknowledgment
that today is eternal

tomorrow will never come
always one day away from truth
wrapped up in all these lies
i ******* hate you

blind and bitter
i am everything
that i despise
letting you let me become
