Rushed by long-sleeping tears
The Sea brings no tide on the evening
The stars hold back from our fears
The moon was found mourning this nightfall
The clouds were slow dancing in shows
The sun will not touch these hours
No one speaks of what time already knows

Feathers are falling tonight
Fast like gleaming snow
The streets are silent tonight
Heaven's eyes have seen a new low
Steps have been climbed on this night
Rushed by long-sleeping tears
