Endless hours,
My patience plays-
With wilting flowers.

As I await the return,
Of a set free butterfly,
I gave up for freedoms yearn,
Releasing him into the sky.

A good-bye was never said,
For I refused to believe,
Any doubt inside my head,
That this love I could retrieve.

The four seasons have passed,
Earths axle spun three times around-
Has our reunion surpassed?
To never again be found...?

If so, will my message be heard?
For my heart bleeds to speak,
I'll send my words to the messenger bird,
With hopes your wherabouts he'll seek.

I will stare at the sunset,
And awake before each dawn,
Stand in the oceans waves so wet,
Waiting forever, no matter how long! [comments] => 1 [counter] => 154 [topic] => 22 [informant] => mystik [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )
