Hail Lion Heart, Pat Tillman, - we salute!
Oh hero unique, strong that did rebut
The lure of mint and wealth and did resist
A life of ease - Pat,- the Idealist.

A champion, Pat Tillman, model rðle,
Profound, so big and lofty is your soul;
America! America! - take pride!
Look up henceforth to see your beacon bright.!.

Who walked away from millions,- he despised
Cheers, accolades and fame alike the Christ;
He walked away from honors and acclaim,
And spurned career and wealth - he overcame!

Beyond all earthly titles, Pat you are
Beyond the Army Ranger,-Football star,
You walked away from millions, ease and fame
In sacrifice, but heaven sings your name

To serve your country and thus serve us all,
You spurned and scorned renown terrestrial,
Dismissed a fine and lucrative career,
To be the battling soldier brothers near.

You changed your sports garb for the uniform,
To serve in Operation Mountain Storm,
To fight against Al Qaeda -Taliban
In no-where’s land, the wild Afghanistan.
.
Pick up your pens! - -pay Lion Heart tribute!
Who was for our earth by far too good;
Though highest honors graced Pat Tillman’s past,
He’s crowned with laurels now that ever last.

Toll bells and peal!- Old Glory fly half staff!
But high up to the sky flies grateful love;
Permit your dear ones not too long to cry
For they are loved, and love can never die!.

We celebrate your sacrifice dear Pat,
And others’ sacrifices ultimate,.
May they as light beams shine from shore to shore
And heavens torches bright for evermore.

Indeed a wonderful tribute Elizabeth!! Truth is found in the Light- and the Light seeks truth-no so-called powers on this earth will stop this from happening-may this young man rest in peace-the peace he fought for. Peace and Light......Sara

Elizabeth

I'm sure the man had fear
For without fear there can be no courage.
Wether he was killed by the enemy or by friedly fire it matters not.
Pat Tillman is to be looked up to he is a true hero--a maryter for freedom.
Thank you for writing this poem in his honor.
May we all pray for his soul and his family

Sinned
