Array ( [sid] => 115688 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => For Dane and Seth [time] => 2006-03-02 10:27:37 [hometext] => We have had many deaths lately in my small town. Usually teenagers in car wrecks and drunk driving has struck once again. Each time the victim is a little closer to my heart. Now it was one of my good friends, a co-worker. This is for him. [bodytext] => It is hard to believe you are not there
I will never be able to reach out to you
Never again will I see the smile on your face

Mardi Gras is a happy time
A time for being with friends
For celebrating

I never thought for one second
of the possibility
That I may never see you again

I am sure you were just cutting up
Having a good time
Driving around in that white truck

Not a care in the world
Just driving around
Enjoying a break from school

I did not know it
but I did see you that day
the traffic was backed up

It was a horrible accident, Dane
I remember the prayer I said
As the ambulance drove away

Please, God,
keep whoever it is safe
I never guessed it would be you

I know, now,
that you are in a better place
But we miss you terribly down here

Our hearts are with you and Seth both
I wish you knew just how much you were loved...

YOu expressed your loss well. A touching write that brought me to tears. The haunting ghosts of times came back to me. Im so sorry for your loss. They did know and still do know how much you care.
