We condemn not of Gods ear
We seize the moment in all its glory
We beckon the lights of the unholy
We block the road to destruction
We strive to build the city of perfection
We can touch all that lives in our minds
We fall forward but are still behind
We swallow the birds of prey
We wait and hope for a new day
We march on the stairs of stone
We regret sins that we condone
We stand here unattended all alone

We murder tiny hopes
We climb these slippery ropes
We throw stones at boulders
We stay warm just to get colder
We try so hard just to get older
We shed tears to wet a shoulder
We provide for a great life tale
We succeed at heart but in mind we fail
We can see the top of our own heads
We love both lips cherry reds
We surge through the skinny tunnel
We jump right in this clogged funnel

We crave indifference to our selves
We place books of clay on our shelves
We play this game of lies
We sleep all day when others rise
We stare to preserve our dying eyes
We shed the skin of a forgotten compromise
We break the bottle of heavens reward
We seek justice to settle the score
We assume a stance of decadence
We murmur a speech of relevance
We can not afford a fake
We will no be burnt alive at the stake

We return a gift of beauty
We hope falsely and truly
We collect residue of past reasons
We change colors, like leaves of past seasons
We consume misery into our hell
We fill water into this dry well
We flash a clenched fist
We struggle to control and desist
We laugh them off but they insist
We are only human, how can we resist
We endow windy tremors
We forget but our unconscious remembers
We perform blatant miracles
We devise unworldly spectacles
We reach out with all our tentacles
We deposit our dreams in labeled receptacles
We fall too high on love’s principles
We decline the notion that we are acceptable
We join the spirits of the condemned
We all meet here in the end

I understand where you were going with this and the ideas within your poems are good ones. While I enjoyed reading this piece, I found that it left something to be desired either in the rhythm or rhyme, or in your choice of words at some parts. Overall good write, keep it up.

A good comment on the inevitability of life.
