why can i not please ?
its not good enough
or by far, too perfect
there is no medium of me
no one is satisfied
my work goes unnoticed and my thoughts unsaid
i scream "WHY CANT YOU LIKE ME" but no one hears
stuck in my own little corner of madness
unable to comfort, help, or care
you don't scratch my back so why should i scratch yours?
misunderstood and unwilling to let it go by anymore
complaining, yes, but THATS YOUR PROBLEM
if you had complied to my pleas i would be happy
so reset your earplugs a little bit tighter
my cries are now screams, my statements rebellious
i will no longer comply to your will
no longer bend my back over for you
you wont help me
its time the favor was returned
now i will pretend not to understand you
you are no longer good enough for me
how does it feel? with YOUR nose now to the corner
pushed away from the world with the bar raised too high
now YOU cannot please.
and for once i am satisfied.
do you like being unheard and unhappy?
unable to please?
too bad. its your turn to suffer.
fuming you sit there
but you cant meet the standards
you either shoot up over them or can't pull yourself up

frustrations cannot be let out
except perhaps through this poem
why can i not please ?

Awe sweetheart *hugs* you should talk to the people who make you feel this way. I know that you feel you can't, but you must!

I hope things work out in the end. But if they don't, just remember... the only person's opinion that matters is you!

Totally agree with what has been posted. I would add that an eye for an eye is not justice, unless it's revenge your out for. Our ideals and and philosophies cannot be validated by comparing them to lower beings. Walk with compassion in your heart.
