Array ( [sid] => 11539 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Je t’aime mon ami [time] => 2003-01-29 01:15:00 [hometext] => This is for you Oyster Star, for no reason and yet so many reasons. Finding you and loving you was the greatest gift I could have ever recieved. You my darling are precious.

(*Note: for those of you who know french, just tell me if the title is written correctly...thankyou) [bodytext] => Profundity, intensity of expression,
Manifests itself in many a forms,
Divine is the extraction,
Of feelings forlorn,
It is like birth and genesis of a restive soul,
Debuting as a reflection,
Across the magic waters of destiny,
But
When the heart of a poet dies,
There are no cries, no sorrow,
Only silence.
And the raiment, a lost silhouette
Is set adrift on these very magic waters.

I too was once a poet…dead,
Until,
In the early hours of twilight,
As the bells of aurora tinkled,
Some one called out my name,
Fragments of a shattered soul,
Came together,
From yonder shores,
Danced like star dust,
Into a spiral form,
And a vagabond
Searching for peace in vain.
Was born as a poet,
Yet again.

Watched in awe as the light broke,
And the sun spoke,
To the mighty waters,
Wonder filled my eyes,
As life passed me by,
I sang the song of existence,
The merry tunes of vivacity
And I let each moment sink in,
Still searching for the one,
Who had beckoned me.

Time brought me to your doorstep,
I watched you as you slept,
The moonlight grazing your face,
I touched your lips,
Sat by your side,
You slowly opened your eyes,
Were a little petrified,
For the lessons of love,
Were new and testing,
But you came through,
And in our moments of resting,
You held me,
Assured me of who I really was,
And as you spoke I looked at you,
I could not look away,
My fears could not sway,
What really was.
You, my peasant,
My secret caller,
My soul mate,
Were, are and shall remain,
Love.

Outstanding poetry. Your diction and vocab are noteworthy, and your rhyme is excellent.
Great poem.
