Im scared to bits,
He slames the door,
Hes having a fit,
I hear his footsteps getting closer,
Im shaking now with bruises all over,
He opens my door,
Its plain to see,
I know whats coming,
How could he do this to me,
I here mummy in the background, urging him to stop,
"Thats enough Brian im calling the cops"
But daddy just laughs, hes heard it all before,
mums in tears, as im pushed to the floor,
Why wont he stop, This isnt a life,
Hurting those closest to him,
His child, His wife,
We need help, i cant go on,

Daddys home,
Im scared to bits,
He slames the door,
Hes having a fit,
I hear his footsteps getting closer,

A very strong write, I feel the fear and pain in this piece.( I truly hope it is fiction)

thank you jackie for the comment and although i did rite this in fiction, the world needs 2 accnolage that this is realli happening this poem is very dear to me and i hope it opens some peoples eyes to the wrongs of domestic and child abuse, it is and important issue that has been forgotten by the world due 2 the fears of terroism etc but is still important and needs 2 b fixed can u imagine living like this living in fear
