A renewal of interest that was never lost.
The burning desire for a sensual voice
calling home to a heart that required its warmth.
A time biding for its opprotunity
to rekindle anything in hope.
These are the desires of a man
who has lost his peace, his lover, his woman.
These are the words of a man
who speaks to himself in silence
for there is no one to listen to his fears.

*

He has based his hopes on desires
and glimmer of hopes that were merely ghosts,
relics of a still burning desire to hold you,
fires he will never again
be able to warm himself on.
It is cold where he lives now
and for always, it was,
but for a moment in history,
dreams envisioned a cascade of emotions
giving birth to the phoenix.

*

Every time he lays to sleep
he sees your smiling eyes
and he is obligated to have conversations
with you voice. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 280 [topic] => 22 [informant] => eggflipper [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

this is very sad....the phoenix may rise many times and die a painful death before it ever totally gives up the ghost.
