They’re all I can depend on late at night.
Instinct and feelings know more than you’d think.
Deep inside is the missing link,
The link between your mind and the world.
They know what to do, let them be heard.
Let nothing remain the same way forever,
You cannot avoid change, ever.

There’s a rhyme and a reason for changing the seasons.
Unclear as it is, it all makes sense.
I can’t imagine life any other way,
Outside of this distorted lens.

This is the time of excitement and change,
Of possibilities of an immense range.
Why cage yourself when you can fly free?
But will it ever be what you want it to be?
Fantasy and reality rarely mix,
And there’s no easy way out of a fix.
My world is not real, the world is not mine.
So what is there left to do with my time?

Following the voices that tell the truth,
I know I will never truly be lost.
Swirling and twirling, all plans unfurling,
The results of the risk will be worth its costs.

A lover of the unknown. Good work. An appropiate work for the times. Hopefully, the voices don't change.

Fantastic and surreal ...the beginning-

but this:

"Fantasy and reality rarely mix,
And there’s no easy way out of a fix.
My world is not real, the world is not mine.
So what is there left to do with my time?"

...didn't match up..
almost as if, from a different author-

My thoughts only-

B
