My Ultimate Sin
Fighting a Fight
I Cannot Win
So Many Imperfections
So Many Hidden Scars
Chasing Dreams
Are Like Trying To Touch Stars
So Many Layers
Within This Complicated Creature
Surgery To Give You A Perfect Figure
Caricature Of Perfection
Wearing A Mask Of Deception
Rid Me Of This Curse
I Don’t Know Anything Worse
Anything Worse Than
Dreaming of The Unreachable
Its Like Trying To Gain
The Unattainable
Humanity’s Worse Flaw
Is Fed Into The Minds
Of The Nation As Perfection
And We Are All In Over Our Heads
Trying To Achieve What Isn’t There
It’s Just Not Fair
Hypocrite Religions
Hypocrite Traditions
Passing Down This Plague
This Plague Of Perfection
What Is The World Coming To?
A Girl Pukes Her Guts Out 24/7
Just To Get Some Guy’s Attention
Anorexic Models Flaunting
The Look Of A Flat Stomach
Portraying What Is Defined
In The Nation’s Dictionary
As Perfection
We Are Sinking Down Into
A Vast Whirlpool Of Confusion
Who Are These People
Who Implant The Visions Of
Perfection Into The Minds
Of The Human Race
Who Are They?
Who Are They To Say
What Is Right And What
Is Wrong? Who Are They
Anyway?
I See These Kids
Trying To Fit Into
The Latest Trends
Trying To Display
The Explanation Of
Emo, Goth, Punk, And Prep
Being Forced To Be
Labeled As These And
Others Just Because
Someone Says That
They Aren’t “Cool”
Because They Are
Different
Imperfections?
Perfections?
Who Are These People
Who Implant The Visions Of
Perfection Into The Minds
Of The Human Race
Who Are They?
Who Are They To Say
What Is Right And What
Is Wrong? Who Are They
Anyway?
And Most Important Of All
What Is Perfection Anyway?
How Can A Dictionary Hold
A Definition When Everyone
Seems To Form Their Own
Opinion That Ends In
Self Mutilation To Obtain
“PERFECTION”
All These Dreams
Of Hollywood Druggies
Forcing Us To Conform
To The Unwritten Law
Of The Land:
Anyone Who Doesn’t
Fit Into This Flawless
Mold Is To Be Cast
Aside As Just A Piece
Of Trash
Nothing About The
Soul Matters Anymore
It Is All About
Achieving Perfection
Our Ultimate Sin
Fighting a Fight
We Cannot Win

Hello Kortnie:
Aren't we such cute and lovely little babies.. we are all so perfect... something gets lost a long the way.. either we are not raised up with love.. good teachings, or, we decide to throw out all that wisdom and become torn apart from God.. we lack the trust, the faith, we seem to follow what the deceivers throw onto us in order to make money.. in turn it rips up our minds and hearts, trying to please what they set out to do in order to raise their dough.. we begin to believe in them, and then.. we think that is what and how the world wants us to be.. I through all that nonsense out of the window.. I can go out to the store with no make up on, toss my hair the way I want it.. my heart is kind and gentle enough that I do not need extra fake things put on me.. I do not like that saying, if you can't beatem, joinem.. the only way for me to live is to be myself.. remembering those good things taught that I learned, and live them... wonderful message.. God made our hearts perfect.. we just need to do a little housekeeping and throw out some of that garbage.. today is a fine day to begin.. hugs.. raquelLeah
