I OFTEN DWELL
I MET A BOY I LOVED SO WELL
AND THAT VERY DAY HE SET ME FREE WHEN
I FOUND A GIRL UPON HIS KNEE
I WENT STRAIGHT HOME TO CRY
ON MY BED NOT A WORD TO MY MOTHER HAD I SAID
MY FATHER CAME HOME LATE THAT NIGHT HE SEARCH
THE HOUSE FROM LEFT TO RIGHT HE WENT
UPSTAIRS THE DOOR HE BROKE TO FIND ME
HANGING FROM A SINGLE ROPE
DIG MY GRAVE, DIG IT DEEP MARBLE STONE FROM
HEAD TO FEET AND ON MY GRAVE THERE IS A DOVE

Sweet tragedy! Love can hurt so much. I like the poem, even though it is so very sad.

Reminded me of a boy .. years and years and years ago..I knew.. who had a kissing cousin lol.. .. I spent one lonely summer. That was it for me, I left the boys alone and jumped into college, and got hung up on good grades...

When you love someone so deeply.. its a blessing when you are loved back.. sometimes that does not always happen.. things do not always happen the way we want it to happen.. not a valid reason to go kill yourself...

Well you are alive, because you wrote this poem.. or someone did lol.. just know that if you have Jesus present in your life.. you will have a rich life.. not saying how many days or years.. just saying a rich life for whatever time He allows to give you. To be honest, I would not die for a single person in this world, but I would die for Jesus.. if I had to die at all, it would be for Him....but not to hang myself so to speak..
