Dreams now shattered pain is with in
Years of anger mistrust and betrayal
Tormented and beaten forgotten denied
Drugs and additions so many lies

The pain I knew I had to endure
To keep my self living I knew this for sure
The violence the rage ill take to my grave
To save my child I now must be brave

With the birth of a child life should begins
This love so precious that lies deep with in
Gave me the courage the strength and the will
To keep my child safe from this demons from hell

Betrayal
Dreams now shattered pain is with in
Years of anger mistrust and betrayal
Tormented and beaten forgotten denied
Drugs and additions so many lies

The pain I knew I had to endure
To keep my self living I knew this for sure

To save my child I now must be brave

Very powerful message and one I can relate to. Unfortunately our children are often prone to make the same mistakes we did as we are prone to repeat the mistakes of our parents. I do agree with you that the key to our liberation lies as a spiritual level...
