Who will find the cure
There's got to be an end to this curse
Before God shuts the door

Although the sun is still in the sky
When the moon has gone to bed
There are children thinking they can fly
Just before they are dead

A fantasy world takes them anywhere
With Giraffes and elephants to
They do things that we wouldn't dare
no, never me and you

They are in need of psychology
instead of being a mug
I blame it all on technology
Not all upon the drug

If we hadn't taken things so far
Not pushed the human mind
We wouldn't have these dreadful scars
Like children going blind

The final crunch I think you will find
Is a bitter pill to swallow
A new born baby, addiction in mind
What next? What comes tomorrow. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 414 [topic] => 31 [informant] => Scouse [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => StoryPoetry )
