They continuously bleed,
As I drag the blade across to cause them.
The walls close in on me,
Surrounding me with their everlasting darkness.
I drag the blade across for many reasons.
People who try to bring me down,
They almost always succeed in doing so.
These wounds I have inflicted,
They itch and they burn.
What has this life come to when cutting,
Or suicide,
Seem to be the only answer?
This life I live is an endless joke,
It's an endless joke because of those who think it's rather funny.
So then,
How come I'm not laughing?
Both Death and his lovely bride the Snow Queen find it humourous though.
Where did I go wrong to have a life where one must endure pain,
On an almost constant basis?
So,
The question is:
Why am I here?
Or why am I even still alive?
My soul begs for sweet mercy,
And total forgiveness at the feet of the Snow Queen.
She refuses to give it to me,
As usual. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 308 [topic] => 36 [informant] => Lady_Ravyn_Bloodstone [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

I particularly enjoyed this line. It was very nice.

Please consider some my poetry too, if you have time. Thank you.
