Than why not take the chance?
If there’s nothing left to live for
Then find something to hold on to
There can’t be shadow without light

Grasping that precious moment
Your smile brightening my world
I know that I will finally be all right
Your light is guiding me through the night

When you do have something to lose
You have to keep it safe from everything
Don’t even think about yelling out loud
You can’t even laugh too hard either
Suppress the emotion and you’ll be ok

Dancing around with my words
I try to make everything seem fine
But slowly you are fading away
Your memory is leaving my mind

Fight for that something you have left
It’s the only thing that really matters
Is it really worth it to keep it alive?
Is it worth it if you die on the inside?

I just want to scream that I hate you
And yet I want to cradle you in my arms
Hold you tight so you can never leave
And yet push you as far away as you’ll go

If you love something let it go
Or you’ll unleash the pent up anger
Obsession only leads to addiction
You can’t hold on forever

I love you
I hate you more
I can’t stand your voice
Yet you’re the one I adore
