I was 13
I had a life
Then came a man
Holding a knife
He told me “keep still
Don’t make a sound”
But I was helpless
Felt tied and bound
The place was dark
There was no one there
To hear my cries
It wasn’t fair
His skin against mine
A moment that seemed
Lasted a lifetime
My innocence stolen
My confidence shattered
All in one moment
Bruised and battered
