The gold, the red .....
lighting a fire in my eyes,
painting a passion,
Unknown to the world...

I hold the dream close to my heart,
Not able to contain the joy of love..
as I see your face ,
a far vision from the known truth.

Want to see the smile light up your eyes
Like the daisy smiling to the rays of the sun,
as I watch the way you turn your face,
my heart skips a beat.

The dream is but a hundred miles away from me,
Far, far as far as the hills.
But, still I hold on ot it
Cos there is a truth that is so beautiful

and I want to find my way to that beautiful dream
and as i hug this dream close to my senses,
the beauty of the moning fades,

And the sunlight streams through........
the darkness is dispelled........
a strange feeling of pain engulfs me......

I turn to face the sun,
as it touches my face,
