I know that everything is true
Your eyes describe my mood now
So alarmed and so blue
It's scary how just weeks ago
You'd look me in the eye
Now you can't look at me
While we're saying goodbye
At least you were man enough
To come up to me and say
You no longer loved me
You didn't feel that way
As sad as I am
You have all my respect now
You were honest with me
You didn't sit back and cower
At least I know now
So I'm not living one big lie
As much as it hurts me

how is it true love if he no longer loves you? so many fail to know the difference between loving someone and being in love with someone...being in love means your gonna fall out of love (high probability), loving someone is loving them (unconditional love is a good example)

someone else mentioned that you could take some words out to make it flow better...you could...but if it comes from the heart there is no need. Poetry is meant to be raw. ^_^

always, abraham

Sometimes you give your heart and believe what you are getting back is someone else's in return.
When you find the person that really cares then don't let them go.
