Array ( [sid] => 114493 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => February Whirlwind [time] => 2006-02-08 13:32:16 [hometext] => To those friends who so beautifully enriched my life... I am feeling its loss very profoundly now. My first poem in months. Thank you David, Andrew and Phil. [bodytext] => Intensely foreboding...
February was always.... bleak, berating and...
with need of an escape of excitement
also the all important break with boredom..
(one can only hope)
Then came the whirlwind...
(it enfolded me)
as a supercalafragilisticexpialidocuis view of the possibilities
(oh what life can truly bring, if only we dare to dream!)
a touch with the lovely
(lovely indeed, was jovial company)
a memory with the not so mundane...
(marvelousness of the incandescant imaginations mixing with colors of reality)
a jaunt with joy...
(how well the melded)
a heapful of happiness for the heart
(you came, a flame rekindled)
but now... the fall...
(oh mustn’t be)
spiraling downward
(it can't really be over)
that reminder of life
(ah, cursed reality!)
Dark, dank, hollow, harrowing...
February has returned. [comments] => 10 [counter] => 309 [topic] => 69 [informant] => faith_my_eyes [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 41 [ratings] => 17 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => poets )

Oh Emily...I miss you so much...

I love this, y'know? (Isn't it just so obvious that I would?)

I love the parts in brackets, the 'thoughts' behind this, if you know what I mean.

I feel the same, Em. You guys are just the most amazing people I know... All of you.

I miss you guys. (I miss everyone)

A wonderful poem, sweetie. I am so glad that I touched your life, just like you have touched mine.

Thankyou...

Much love to you always,
Phyllis xxxxxxx

What words are left to say, you've said them all. I miss you, Em. And Phil. And that other guy, you know, the one that let us stay at his house. Yes, Em, your boyfriend is great, I approve.
Anyway, it was great. Em, thanks so much. Oh... the poem... Like I said, it said it all.
Take care.

Hiya, neighbor! :-) This is a very pretty poem, Em. A bit sad, yet wonderfully gracious.

Thank you for sharing and take care.

Tim

A beautiful piece, Em, it truly is. Your styling and vocabulary are impressive and well-employed.

Well, what can I say? It was a truly wonderful time; it refreshed me. I too miss all of you, and will look back with fond emotions on that (too-short!) time.

It really was refreshing, wasn't it?

Andrew

I was engrossed....I wish you the colours of August...they are not so ephemeral as those of February,

Remembering that February will always bring it back... When you are feeling Dark Dank, hollow and harrowing... Just bring it back with memories you felt on that day...

Thank You

Bill
