The messages are subliminal.
when you feel like your left with only a nickel
amongst millionaires.
Life's unfair,
and does anyone even care?
I stare at the setting red and I squint from the rays.
I've lost something since those older days.
We hide in the shadows,
and conjour what lies below,
we're caught in the sea's undertow.
And I drift as time sifts,
Hope becomes a dwindling wish,
I reminisce on what I miss,
and the pain persists.
What can I say?-

Lifes little twists can mold us into wonderful and beautiful spirits

I immediately thought of Oliver Twist, about the little orphan boy having no station in life and no future in this cold cruel world...

My comment to your poem:

We need to feel security, we all stand naked and bare in our pains. Each day we learn new ways to survive, with prayer. The pains lifes twists can be quite heavy. Our staining tears of pain may be unseen by many, God sees them. Sometimes it feels like we are dying little deaths. Smile as much as you can, God can hear our hearts cry out.

We are really never alone, even though sometimes we may feel the twists as the world turns and we feel inadequate senses; or even not to be aware of our own senses, let alone someone else to try to observe.

And sometimes we feel so much in pain, not even tears feel healing enough, yet we go on and on loving and God hears our cries..

Never fear, underdog is here, better than that.. never fear, under God we are still here..

Even with lifes twists we are still winning, when no one sees you or hears you or seem to care, God does.. no matter what.

Be strong in your faith and I thank you for your kindness in comment upon my poem page as well..

Your poem is lovely.. and always remember we have everything we need under God.

Hugs from me, raquel leah

With each write you draw in ur reader and you express to them what you feel through ur words. Yes life does has many twists my friend and one does face alot of obstacles throughout his years, but with faith and love in our hearts one overcomes whatever he faces. God bestows us with certain gifts and I feel that He has shone his light on u and blessed u with such a gift in writing.
A very well written and delivered write. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
hugs galore from ur fan/friend,
