I never said goodbye because of my darkened rage
Holding your bleeding body in my arms was the hardest
I didn't think I could go on without you here by me
You let go of life as I screamed in your face
You died the moment a tear slide down my face
I yelled at you, I screamed at you
I begged you not to go
I told you I hated you for leaving me here
All over a stupid fight
I cursed the driver, I cursed the truck
I cursed the heavens
I sat there, hugging your lifeless form
My face and clothes caked in your blood
I hated you for leaving
I loved you because you left
My souless eyes full of tears
And the hole in my heart gets wider
I lost you
You, who could pause the world
You left me forever
I, who lived only for you
I am the dark side of the yin-yang
And you are my light
Apart we are opposite
But together we are in perfect harmony
And when one is gone, the balance is shifting
Soon, I will die from the pressure
The pain, the longing
But fearing death has made me scared
So I shall wait out my time
And pray, just pray that this blood on my face and pavement
Soon turns to be my own all over the street [comments] => 1 [counter] => 205 [topic] => 39 [informant] => DesolantDreamer [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )
