Stories of things that have been
Sorrows and joys are in the air
Of a time that no one did care

Ghosts of past injustices flow around
Leaving a faint mournful sound
Man has not learned his lessons yet
Again he will repeat the same old set

Kill that which is different is his call
Or at least oppress them all
So in the air the moans still echo
So many tortured and died we know

But again history will prove us wrong
For we never learn to get along
Now we turn on the rest of the earth
Killing the animals and plants at birth

All in the name of progress we do stand
Beating our modern world band
How many spirits need to cry out?
Before STOP THE MADNESS is our shout

Shari,
A true write about what's really happening in the world today. It's so sad cos there is nothing we can do to stop it. A very well detailed and penned write. Keep up the great work Shari.
*warm hugs*

Thank you Shari: Your poems are very much a source for my studies.
Yes, and we need to pray the World's prayer, not just our own for unique individuals of all ages, in all backgrounds and spiritual traditions, in every corner of our world. God does not see us as male or female, He does not see us as a color, He sees us as pure love, because He is pure love, and we come from His seed. Even though sometimes I want to say the world is completely corrupted, I also know there is still a lot of good in the world. So much destruction yes, treating the world as if life is nothing, and it is a disgrace to the human race. We better begin to give a damn, or damned we will become, and we all fall down. Well, we all know that God destroyed the old world by floods, the present world will be destroyed by fire. Are we getting a head start? Anyway, here are some readings of world destruction where God says many times that heaven and earth would pass away:

Psalm 102:26-27
Isaiah 34:4
Jeremiah 31:35
Matthew 5:18
Matthew 24:35
Mark 13:31
Luke 21:33
Hebrews 1:11
2 Peter 3:7-12
Revelation 6:14

Hugs from me, raquel leah
