But you were messing with my mind,
You made me believe you were telling the truth,
Looking straight into my eyes lying,
Oh how I want to ripe you apart,
Why did you lead me on?
I said No at the beginning,
I said I don’t believe you,
But you made me change my mind,
Just like all the others,
I asked myself why someone like you would want me,
I am too low in your league,
You damn well knew that,
I was ugly in your face,
Not even your type of girl,
Why the hell did you let me believe you liked me?
Bringing up my hopes for no reason,
Now you back talking behind my back,
Telling your friends we don’t belong together,
Made me look like a fool forcing myself on you,
Why the hell did you do that for?
I wish you could been honest with me,
Now I hate you like the devil hates God,
I do not even want to talk to you,
My hate for you grows every minute,
I will not even accept your friendship,
I think we are done for good.

...Ruth, lucky you found out before you had a kid...he's a child playing a perverse version of Mr. Roger's Land of Make-Believe...he ain't no man and you are fortunate to have found out sooner than later...it hurts though...

...I don't know how many people have told me pain is the great teacher...I hated it, but it is true...took a long time, [I'm fifty-four], but I finally began to view pain a a light on my emotional dashboard...as a kid, you touch the hot burner, YIKES, PAIN...the obvious result, you learn not to touch hot burners...emotional pain is telling us the same thing...not quite so obvious sometimes, but where there is pain, there is a lesson to be learned...

...Love your Self...Love your Self so much it dosn't really matter if someone walks away...it's their loss, not yours...

...you created a fine write, a great poetic expression...keep it up...
