dreaming wasted
vomiting in this black hole
torn across
empty spaces
godless we give extol
we live here
where nothingness blooms abundant
conceived here
stagnation has become redundant

blue slid across my face
i let it go, i let it go
shifting what was misplaced
silent, life grows

expelling
bleeding painless
naked we circle the drain
faces shift
counting ruin
i drown in the same
to die here
where consciousness smears together
my worst fear
to never sever from this tether

blue slid across my face
i let it go, i let it go
shifting what was misplaced
silent, life grows

the stars fade
my mother laughs
i can't paint my way out of this shell

the stars fade away
laughing
eclipsing

the stars fade
my mother laughs
i can't paint my way out of this shell

blue slid across my face

Hmm this was interesting I'm not sure if the
last line, "silent, life grows". was meant to
convey hope and happiness or not. A line that
sticks out to me for some reason is, "I can't
paint my way out of this shell". I don't know if
that is meant to be taken literally or not like
for instance I write to release emotions so do
you paint to release emotions? In any case a
good poem/song.

This is really really good. You are a way better songwriter than I am. Sammi Jo
