So many stories of past remember
Inside a word lost to all this tremble
Many things now have come to change
Yet again to many your gaze is just the same
For the few of lifes many tender
Some lost in a place of no forget
Remember the sacrifice of our older lender
For you have given and yet nothing in return
Most of us live this splender
Cause of all you gave away
Salute now our old generation
Thoughts for them and all their splender
God bless our mothers our fathers our arms to be
Our grandfathers and nans of constant tea
Some of us will always remember......... [comments] => 4 [counter] => 148 [topic] => 55 [informant] => mindset [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

What a wonderful, wonderful write. Being a nurse for over twenty years, I had many wonderful experiences taking care of the elderly. Geriactrics was one of my favorite areas that I worked. If people would just take the time....they would here some grand stories of days long past. Peace to you, Laura

This is splendid! These are the people in life that deserve respect. They are where we should find our heroes. They have loved and lost, given and forgiven, and kept on no matter how hard it was to give to us the life they never had. I commend you highly for this write. Blessings to you.
