The one that touches my heart
And moves me to acts of compassion
The road where I see all are a part

Of this planet we walk upon
Which path is the right way to travel?
The one of love of course
No need others views to unravel

Ignorance, Intolerance and hatred
Are the demons of this earth
How can we judge others?
Or discredit their worth

Which path I choose
Is my personal journey
How I find the creator
Is for me to see

I will not say others paths
Are wrong or not the way
And I only have myself to face
At the end of the day

So no matter which path you take
I hope at journey’s end
I will see you there with me
And we can stand as friends

So true, so true. A few on this site would do well to read this and take heed. Good rhythm and rhyme and a great message. Well done and thanks for sharing this one.

Yeah to you for such a wonderful write. Made me smile. I will see you my friend at the journey's end....(I'll be the one in the tie-dye and long skirt holding a sign that says HEY FRIEND) :) Much peace to you, Laura

Being real I do not completely agree with you. Do not take this as a criticism. I am just being real about my opinion on the subject.

I, however thought that this was a very inspirational and gentle poem. A very heated topic, which you never heated up. That takes skill. You choice of words were significant and your style was soothing. The last stanza particularly moved me. GREAT WRITE!

Excellent write, Shari. It matters not what you believe, only that you do. We are all the children of our creator and he loves each of us. Bless you.

Rita
