There's aways a different story; a story in our heads. Playing a different game for everyday; making plans to stay. When we're ripped apart, we never feel the same.
The actions of others change us forever. We don't have to say anything to make a difference. From the backs of our brains into the light, we've always known we were meant for greater lives.
We can feel the passage of time as we lie in our beds; we feel it wash us clean, ebbing away our sins. When a gun is pointed at our heads, we're never afraid, we know it will come.
When the actions of others come crashing down on us, we will stand and take it no matter what.
When death takes us down, our souls will fly free. Nothing can hold us down, we are what we see. Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
