your nobody without a ipod or your cell
walking in tecno heaven tottering in hell
looking like a maniac screaming at the air
yelling at your wife do you think we care

prada on your feet gucci on your back
wanting the the world to follow your back
designer labels and cars your in debt to the hilt
this is how you want your world to be built

god of money wealth and fame
you are winning we are tame
blind us with bling cover our eyes
destroy the earth blacken the sky

Good write! This reminds me of a song I heard:
"Welcome, welcome to the USA.
We're partying fools in the Autumn of our hey day.
Welcome to the world of flame and fizz.
Where you will learn that packging is all there ever is."

Good write. The second stanza hit me good, the whole billboards thing. I hate seeing those littering up the view. Peace, Laura

This is a very good poem about greed. The world can live wiithout all these material things. Great Job!
