festering wounds smeared dark red
anguished body tries to yell
powerless to raise my head

the bustling townfolk below
busy with their daily transactions
now apart more than ever
from their feuds and their factions

criminal, i am not
of trangressions, there are none
although i held not to the oath
that's where it became undone

significantly insignificant
were any issues, so bland
but the scales are broken
in this frozen, hard land

blade wedged in the cranium
brain tissue ripped, torn
and life moves on, always
blind to the templar forlorn

I felt like this for the last couple days, had to turn down the volume from my eyes and ears, and turn up my heart light. Hard world we live in, yes, and its hard to hang sometimes, can't move, hard to watch what goes on, may as well be blind to it all. Go forth, witness to the truth, and you will come out of that hole, that battle you will win. 5 stars back atcha. Hugs.. raquelLeah

This poem is full of emotion, and really captured my attention. I really felt the intensity and power of this write, well done.
