| its capitalism. as for socialist or communist ideas actually working in the world the way they are supposed to, it is impossible. and even if it did become possible, it wouldnt last. as for money making the world go round, im sure the world was spinning before money even was conceived. many marriages have been destroyed by financial problems-so your idea that happiness comes from being loved doesnt stand up to scrutiny. people on deserted islands can live as free as they want, as do hermits, and as do the people in countries where they are not known about. sure nothing is free where you are obviously, but nothing stops you from going where it is free, except the natural human hypocrisy. as for your entire poem in general, it reminds me of all the russians that believed communist/socialist goverment/economic structures and social hierarchies would make their lives wonderful, and they are still backwards in the modern world. all the countries that rely on capitalism offer more to their citizens than the communist/socialist countries. the fact that the united states could create a middle class, where most people are neither rich or poor proves that capitalism can help more people than socialism or communism where everything is the same-poor. but all the countries that have communism and socialism in their structures of government/economy, etc dont practice it to the letter of what it should be, so even they know its not perfect. and as for frolicking with the animals, if you havent noticed-most animals are afraid of humans for good reason. as far as im concerned humans would only move their habitats to be closer to their food source and be more vulnerable to being killed. but if you want to convert people to your way of thinking- go to a deserted island and prove it is better. if you want to prove the whole love theory-take along a mate. but as for capitalism being a persons worst enemy-why are you using a computer, an internet source, knowledge (perhaps from school or just books on your own), all the things that come with a computer, electricity, and enough food to be used as energy to type that poem come from? i must say even if none of that was yours, it still came from capitalism, and if it is yours-your poem seems too hypocritical to believe. sure, you could have come from the other side of the tracks or something-but still capitalism got you to where you are now. and many empires and countries have fallen because of money being a factor, but it wasnt the only factor. as far as ending us, i dont see that happening, what a shame. as for how this poem was written. the tone was very idealistic, the constant refrains were of no importance, the fact that this isnt even in any format gives rise to the suggestion that this isnt even a poem of any form, and all of the exclaimations got overused. emphasizing more than half the poem leaves the other half to look like it was deadweight. your stream of consciousness thinking also doesnt give much structure to this. i think you could have proven your concept better, and written this better. as for misspelling the title and the focus of your poem-what an unforgivable lapse. |

| I understand completely that communism would never work. I know all about how socialism has failed in almost all the nations that it was part of. There are only three communist nations still around and they are not completely communist because humans, us human beings do not like the idea of being fully equal it is a human way of thinking I know that for a fact. And yes everything that my poem came from got on the web from capitolism and I am greatful for that, but it does not mean I have to like it. Asked for idealistic, it is being idealistic that improves the human race. And capitolism has it's upsides of course it does every form of government has ups and downs. But that also does not mean I have to like it. I would prefer us all be equal and be in a hippie love paradise...it will never happen I know but I can write about it and I can try and change the world one poem at a time. Asked for me emphasizing the point of the poem....it is called "slam poetry" that is the form of poetry I choose to write. |

An interesting poem... Wrote something similar once
just not dealing with government or politics... If communism were to ever work, the only country that could even dream of effectivly pulling it off is England. Even though the US would completely sever all ties from them, they don't need us. Also geographically they are secluded enough to withstand the demands that communism puts on a nation. |
